Statement from Sage | We’ve identified a number of customers who are using the Making Tax Digital module and have not updated it to the latest version.
As we’ll be retiring the licence service that this version of the MTD module connects to, we’re writing to them next week to let them know. We’ll outline that they need to update to prevent disruption to their service. We wanted to let you know in case they reach out to you.
The nature of the module is that it automatically prompts to update when you open the software, if you accept the prompt, it will automatically download & install the update. The update needs to be performed on all PCs on which the module is installed.
If customers do not allow the module to update then they will not be able to continue to use this software.
